Entrepreneurs for liberty is a grassroots community of libertarian entrepreneurs working together to promote a society of free and responsible individuals with minimum public intervention as the best possible economic and social environment. We do not endorse any political party or organization.
As entrepreneurs, we believe the following to be true:
- Markets should be kept free with a minimum regulation, basically ensuring that contracts are respected. Regulation compliance costs should be as low as possible.
- We should be able to start a business wherever and whenever we want, no matter where we come from, with the minimum possible cost and bureaucracy.
- There should be no barriers to competition. Competition encourages businesses to better serve their clients and society.
- We should be able to start a business in any industry. Activities needing a special license should be kept to a minimum.
- In free markets transactions are voluntary and only take place if customers value whatever they are buying more than the money they pay for it.
- Our activity benefits society, not only us. It creates wealth, employment and products that improve living standards.
- In a free market with people making free decisions, entrepreneurial benefits are 100% fair. Taxes discourage business creation and should be kept to a minimum.
- We don’t believe in public aid for entrepreneurs. Governments should just get out of our way and let us work with the minimum possible inference.
- Losses should be sustained by entrepreneurs, not by society. There should be no privileged industry.
